Palmarés de los Premios Eisner 2025

En esta ocasión la alegría para España llega de la mano de Javier Rodríguez

La San Diego Comic-Con 2025 ha vuelto a convertirse en el epicentro mundial del cómic y la cultura popular, y como cada año, uno de los momentos más esperados ha sido la entrega de los Premios Will Eisner, considerados los “Óscar del cómic”. En esta edición, celebrada el viernes 26 de julio de 2025, se ha reconocido lo mejor del cómic publicado durante el último año, tanto en Estados Unidos como a nivel internacional. Con un total de 32 categorías, los Eisner 2025 han destacado obras que van desde historias personales e íntimas hasta epopeyas superheroicas, pasando por títulos independientes, cómic digital, novela gráfica y reediciones de clásicos.

Uno de los grandes motivos de celebración para el cómic en español es la victoria del dibujante Javier Rodríguez, que se alzó con el premio a Mejor Serie Limitada por Zatanna: Bring Down the House, publicado por DC Comics. Este reconocimiento consolida la carrera internacional del autor y representa un nuevo hito para los artistas españoles en la industria estadounidense.

Entre los galardonados figuran nombres consagrados y nuevas voces que están redefiniendo el panorama actual del medio, lo que refleja la riqueza creativa, diversidad temática y calidad artística que vive el cómic en la actualidad.

Del multiverso al cosmos: todas las estrellas de Los 4 Fantásticos

Los 4 Fantásticos han aterrizado por fin en el Universo Cinematográfico de Marvel, y lo han hecho por todo lo alto pues por fin se ha calado al 100% su personalidad. Y más allá de devolvernos a Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm y Ben Grimm, ‘Primeros pasos’, la película dirigida por Matt Shakman está repleta de guiños para fans, cameos inesperados y apariciones especiales que expanden aún más la mitología marvelita. Desde luego es todo un homenaje a Stan Lee y Jack Kirby.

Desde personajes clásicos del cómic hasta rostros familiares del MCU, esta nueva entrega funciona como carta de presentación para una etapa cósmica y ambiciosa. Algunos de estos cameos podrían pasar desapercibidos para el espectador casual, pero los fans atentos encontrarán auténticas joyas escondidas entre los fotogramas.

Pedro Pascal – Reed Richards / Mr. Fantástico

El genio científico capaz de estirar su cuerpo a voluntad, líder del grupo en los cómics clásicos de Stan Lee y Jack Kirby. Uno de los personajes más inteligentes del universo Marvel.

Vanessa Kirby – Sue Storm / Mujer Invisible

Experta en usar campos de fuerza e invisibilidad. Tradicionalmente el corazón emocional y estratégico del equipo, en muchas etapas, eje principal de la aventura que viven estos superhéroes. En esta nueva versión, pese lucir la alianza que demuestra que está casada con Richards, conserva su apellido de soltera.

Joseph Quinn – Johnny Storm / Antorcha Humana

Hermano menor impulsivo, capaz de envolver su cuerpo en llamas y volar. Enérgico y carismático, siempre funciona como válvula cómica en su relación con La Cosa.

Ebon Moss‑Bachrach – Ben Grimm / La Cosa

Cuerpo rocoso y fuerza brutal. Tradicionalmente el músculo del equipo con un profundo sentido de lealtad y un corazón enorme. Irónicamente a pesar de su aspecto, es de todo el grupo el que más cerca está del ciudadano de a pie.

En los cómics es considerado un mutante que supera el nivel Omega. Hijo de Mr. Fantástico y la Mujer Invisible puede hacer realidad cualquier pensamiento o deseo.

Matthew Wood – H.E.R.B.I.E.

El asistente robótico hogareño de los Richards que recibe su nombre de: Humanoid Experimental Robot, B-type, Integrated Electronics. Este actor ha prestado su voz a personajes como Grievous, Kylo Ren y otros muchos personajes dentro y fuera del universo Star Wars.

En la primera escena post-créditos hace su prometida aparición el Dr. Victor von Doom. Pero lo hace dando la espalda a cámara y con su máscara en la mano. Durante el filme también nos da calabaza dejando la silla de Latveria vacía en la sede de la Future Fundation. Ya apareció en la San Diego Comic-Con Robert Downey Jr. ataviado con la mítica capucha verde, pero aquí no da la cara. ¿Qué nos querrán decir?

Martin Dickinson y Greg Haiste – Stan Lee y Jack Kirby

Ambos creadores del cómic están presentes en toda la película pues esta emula mucho a sus cómics. Pero hay un establecimiento llamado “Stanley’s service center” que parece aludir a quien en su día acuñó la expresión “Excelsior!”. Precisamente así se llama el cohete que pilota la familia de héroes, Excelsior. Pero aún más allá, ambos autores aparecen representados como dibujantes de cómcis en un local de Timely (antesala de Marvel) rodeados de dibujos justo enfrente del lugar donde hace su primera aparición Silver Surfer. Y para rizar el rizo este nuevo universo ha recibido el número 828, en guiño a la fecha de nacimiento de Kirby: 8/28/1917 en formato de fecha norteamericano.

Paul Walter Hauser – Harvey Elder / Mole Man

Villano clásico de los cómics de Los 4 Fantásticos, para muchos un villano menor pero suele tener mucha relevancia. Señor de los Subterráneos y conocido como Hombre Todo en España, da dolores de cabeza a los 4F con sus Topoides y su lucha por el mundo subterráneo.

Sarah Niles – Lynne

Monica Lynne es una cantante y activista creada en los cómics en 1969 por Roy Thomas, Frank Giacoia y Herb Trimpe. Tuvo un romance con T’Challa / Black Panther. En la película forma parte de la FF (Future Foundation), una organización filantrópica que los lectores de cómics reconocerán y que en el filme se asemeja a la ONU.

Mark Gatiss – Ted Gilbert

Un presentador de televisión carismático y afortunado por poder entrevistar a los Cuatro Fantásticos. No tiene referencia comiquera.

Natasha Lyonne – Rachel Rozman

Personaje original creado para esta película. Sería el equivalente a Alicia Masters pues es quien tiene más relación con La Cosa fuera del grupo de los 4 Fantásticos.

Alex Hyde-White, Rebecca Staab, Michael Bailey Smith y Jay Underwood – Los Cuatro Fantásticos

Estos cuatro actores son quienes encarnaron a Los 4 Fantásticos en la versión no estrenada de Roger Corman. Hicieron su película con medios casi nulos y sin saber que realmente no estaba proyectado hacerse ese filme, todo era una estratagema para conservar los derechos de la cual no estaban informados. Aparecen durante el filme, varios de ellos como presentadores de TV o como trabajadores de una planta eléctrica.

Sin actor – Capitán América

En diversas escenas en Time Square aparecen diversos cines, uno de ellos curiosamente llamado Forum, como se llamaba la editorial que traía los cómics de Marvel a España. En otros vemos un cartel que promociona una película llamada ‘Subzero intel’. Esto ha sido interpretado por muchos al Capitán América ya que representa a un soldado escalando por el hielo. Recordemos que antes de los 60 el «Capi» quedó congelado accidentalmente y esto podría indicarnos que esta tierra 828 también existía.

Sin actor – Pensador Loco, Mago, Amo de las Marionetas y Diablo

Villanos recurrentes de los cómics que no aparecen en el filme pero que son mencionados o representados como dibujos animados en la segunda escena post-créditos.

John Malkovich – Ivan Kragoff / Fantasma Rojo

Para acabar con un sonadísimo personaje NO VISTO finalmente en el filme. John Malkovich fue eliminado en la versión final de la película, inicialmente iba a interpretar a Ivan Kragoff / Fantasma Rojo, otro villano emblemático que aparece al final del filme en dibujo animado y sin articular palabra alguna.

San Diego Comic-Con Málaga intenta calmar la incertidumbre con un nuevo anuncio

San Diego Comic-Con Málaga anuncia la presencia de Jim Lee

Tras días de incertidumbre, especulaciones y nerviosismo en redes sociales, los fans de la cultura pop y sobre todo comiquera, reciben nueva información. La San Diego Comic-Con Málaga, que se celebrará del 25 al 28 de septiembre de 2025 en el FYCMA, ha anunciado una nueva oportunidad para conseguir entradas. Será el próximo miércoles 25 de junio a las 12:00h a través de la plataforma oficial VivaTicket. Este anuncio llega mientras aún hay usuarios que no han visto subsanado el error de la compra de su entrada. Durante el día de las primeras reservas se cancelaron pagos durante la transacción o se otorgaron entradas para días incorrectos, entre otras cosas. Los comentarios en redes se han convertido en la única vía de reclamación de los compradores.

Pese a esto y la denuncia de Facua, la avalancha de ventas agotó casi la totalidad de entradas iniciales en pocas horas. La organización, consciente de la demanda y del malestar creciente, lanza ahora esta segunda ronda de entradas, manteniendo el precio promocional de 50 euros + gastos de gestión.

Entradas limitadas y medidas contra la reventa

Tal como ocurrió en la primera fase, las entradas para la San Diego Comic-Con Málaga serán personales e intransferibles, en un intento por frenar la reventa y evitar la especulación. Aunque para muchos fans ya se está especulando al lanzar un evento del que hasta ahora no se conocía ningún nombre. Se ha confirmado también que el precio habitual en futuras ediciones será de 80 euros por día, lo que convierte esta nueva ventana en una oportunidad muy valiosa para los aficionados.

Jim Lee primer anunciado

Por fin ha llegado un primer confirmado, Jim Lee, presidente, editor y director creativo de DC Comics. Él ha sido el primero en disparar la emoción del público y disipar ligeramente algunas dudas. Su presencia marca un antes y un después en los eventos de cómic celebrados en España. Ganador de premios como el Harvey y el Inkpot, e incluido en el Salón de la Fama del Cómic Will Eisner en 2024, Lee será sin duda uno de los grandes reclamos del evento.

Organización en marcha y más detalles por llegar

Pese a las dudas surgidas en torno a la organización y logística, desde la web oficial ya se han dado algunos pasos para aportar claridad: se habilitarán Fanzones para el intercambio escalonado de entradas por acreditaciones y se ha publicado una llamada «Guía de Supervivencia» para resolver dudas prácticas.

En las próximas semanas se desvelará el mapa del recinto, zonas fandom, paneles y más nombres de invitados, aumentando la expectativa.

El 15 de mayo entradas a la venta

Se acaba de anunciar la fecha en la que se podrán empezar a comprar entradas para la San Diego Comic-Con Málaga, la que será la primera incursión del célebre evento de cómics fuera de las fronteras estadounidenses. Esta edición europea tendrá lugar el 25 al 28 de septiembre de 2025 en el FYCMA (Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga). Para poder acceder a este evento que ha levantado tantas preguntas como expectación habrá que estar atentos y con la batería del móvil bien cargada el 15 de mayo. Ese día saldrán a la venta las entradas que se canjearán más adelante por una acreditación oficial, que será el pase necesario para acceder a todas las actividades del evento.

El precio de cada entrada será de 50€. En comparación con la San Diego Comic-Con hay una diferencia de 30€ ya que para adultos el precio suele ser de 80$ (de jueves a sábado) y 60$ el domingo. Por otro lado, los asistentes con 13 años o menos pueden entrar gratis si van acompañados de un adulto con entrada, que es lo mismo que que se hace en las ediciones de Estados Unidos.

Se desconoce aún el contenido de este evento. Desde la organización nos aseguran que el programa completo estará repleto de sorpresas y se revelará en las próximas semanas. Para ello nos instan a mantenernos al día con la web oficial: sandiegocomicconmalaga.com y sus redes sociales en las que darán a conocer revelaciones exclusivas, invitados especiales, paneles, zonas fandom y mucho más.

¿CÓMO CONSEGUIR TUS ENTRADAS?

Para garantizar un acceso justo y evitar la reventa o especulación, todas las entradas serán personales e intransferibles. Sigue estos pasos para asegurarte la tuya:

  1. Regístrate previamente en www.sandiegocomicconmalaga.com para obtener tu ID de registro único.
  2. El 15 de mayo, entra a www.vivaticket.com y compra tu entrada utilizando tu ID y tus datos personales.
  3. ¿Vas a comprar entradas para amigos o familiares? También necesitarás sus respectivos ID de registro y sus datos.

Las entradas serán válidas solo por día—no habrá abonos multi jornada, lo que permitirá que más fans puedan asistir y vivir esta experiencia histórica.

Los fans de 13 años o menos entran gratis si van acompañados de un adulto con entrada. Solo tienes que incluir los datos del menor durante el proceso de compra en VivaTicket.

Adelantos para cine y TV además de algún vídeo promocional

Antes de arrancar con esta tradicional recopilación de adelantos proyectados en el multitudinario y seguido evento de la ComicCon de San Diego hemos de dar la enhorabuena una vez más a Bruno Redondo por ganar un nuevo Eisner con su Nightwing.

‘El Señor de los Anillos: los Anillos de Poder’ T2

Prime Video prometió una espera más larga para mantener el nivel y la calidad del guión. Casi dos años después tendremos segunda temporada de ‘El Señor de los Anillos: los Anillos de Poder’. Los 3 anillos de los elfos hacen su aparición, dispuestos a dar poder a sus portadores, pero también a corromperlos. ¿Quién hace también acto de presencia? Tom Bombadil y los ents.

‘Those About to Die’ T1

Ya la estamos viendo y preparando nuestra reseña, os podemos adelantar que esta serie de Roland Emmerich es tan épica como parece. La antigua Roma vista bajo el prisma del director de catástrofes por excelencia. 9 de agosto en Prime Video.

‘The Walking Dead: Dead City’ T2

También alcanza su segunda temporada ‘The Walking Dead: Dead City’. En 2025 seguiremos los pasos de Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) y Maggie (Lauren Cohan) por un Nueva York repleto de zombies y acción.

‘Teacup’ T1

Pocos como James Wan pueden crear algo tan creepy en tan poco espacio. No os preocupéis que ahora viene en formato de serie y va a tener mucho tiempo para rodearnos de horrores. Adaptación de la novela ‘Stinger’ de Robert McCammon.

‘Transformers One’

En la versión animada de Transformers, ‘Transformers One’ podremos oír a los famosos robots en su versión joven con las voces de Chris Hemsworth y Bryan Tyree Henry (Optimus Prime y Megatron). También han trabajado en ella Scarlett Johansson, Jon Hamm, Steve Buscemi, Keegan-Michael Key y Laurence Fishburne. Llegará en septiembre a cines.

‘Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ T1

Otros muñecos que nacieron en este caso directamente del mundo del cómic son las Tortugas Ninka. Una nueva serie para los cuatro hermanos amantes de la pizza, otro producto de Paramount+. Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles se estrena el 9 de agosto en la plataforma.

‘Batman: caped crusader’

Si hay versiones animadas esperadas por el público comiquero son las series o películas de Warner Animation. El cruzado de la capa vuelve a tener serie de dibujos, recuperando su antigua estética.

‘Creature commandos’

Si te gustan las historias del Escuadrón Suicida, incluida su versión isekai, no puedes perderte ‘Creature Commanos’. Una nueva formación a las órdenes de Amanda Waller llega en diciembre. Con ello podremos seguir viendo los derroteros del universo desarrollado por James Gunn.

‘Solar Opposites’

Acabando con la animación con un estreno inminente. Otra serie gamberra con muchos fans es ‘Solar Opposites’. Alcanza su quinta temporada que intentará sobrevivir a la desaparición de ‘Euphoria’.

‘Dexter. Original Sin’

Otro personaje querido por la audiencia volverá en su versión joven. Dexter estará de vuelta en diciembre.

‘Como un dragón: Yakuza’

Uno de los videojuegos más míticos de SEGA cobra vida. ‘Como un dragón: Yakuza’ estará en Prime Video el 24 de octubre.

‘The Boys’ T4

Está claro que ‘The Boys’ es una serie repleta de aciertos criticando todo lo errático de nuestra sociedad y del mundo del entretenimiento. Pero no está exenta de errores. Dentro tanda de tomas falsas.

Llega a cines ‘Kalki 2898 AD’

La superproducción india que amplía la serie animada ‘B&B: Bujji and Bhairava’

La productora Vyjayanthi Movies ha traído el universo de Kalki a través de una serie de animación, ya disponible en Prime Video, llamada ‘B&B: Bujji and Bhairava’; una historia que explora las aventuras de Bhairava, un cazarrecompensas en la ciudad futurista de Kasi que se sitúa en el año 2896, dos años antes que Kalki 2898 AD, y BU-JJ1, una piloto de IA, mientras forjan una amistad y se embarcan en una emocionante aventura.

Mañana, 27 de junio, presenta en más de 40 países el esperado estreno de la película live action ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, una de las grandes triunfadoras del pasado Comic-Con, promete ser una de las más grandes producciones indias de la historia, con un presupuesto de más de 75 millones de dólares. Millones de reproducciones de su tráiler avalan la expectación de este estreno.

Esta superproducción de ciencia ficción, acción y aventura dirigida por Nag Ashwin (‘Yevade Subramanyam’, ‘Mahanati’) cuenta con un elenco estelar encabezado por Prabhas, conocido por su trabajo en ‘Baahubali’, Amitabh Bachchan, una leyenda viva del cine indio con una carrera de más de cinco décadas, Kamal Haasan, reconocido por su versatilidad y premiado actor y cineasta, Deepika Padukone, una de las actrices más aclamadas de Bollywood, y Disha Patani, destacada por su papel en ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’.

La película combina mitología india y ciencia ficción avanzada, utilizando tecnologías de VFX de última generación. La trama se sitúa en un futuro oscuro donde una nueva fuerza surge para salvar al mundo, mientras que el tráiler ha captado la atención internacional desde su presentación en la Comic-Con de San Diego, mostrando una impresionante mezcla de tradición y tecnología futurista.

Sinopsis oficial:

La historia se desarrolla en un futuro lejano, en el año 2898 AD. El mundo está en caos y decadencia, y una sociedad llamada ‘The Complex’, formada por la élite y los ricos, tiene acceso a todos los recursos restantes del planeta. Aquellos que no pudieron comprar su entrada en el complejo viven en extensos barrios marginales, donde la comida y el agua son muy escasas.

En este mundo, llega un rayo de esperanza, donde la gente cree que Dios vendrá a rescatarlos en forma de un avatar. Ashwathama, un guerrero inmortal de la era del Mahabharata, busca redención protegiendo al niño que reside en el vientre de Sumathi.

Al mismo tiempo, The Complex intenta capturar a Sumathi, colocando una recompensa por su cabeza. Aquí es donde entra Bhairava, un cazarrecompensas. Él intenta luchar contra Ashwathama y reclamar la recompensa para sí mismo.

¿Qué sucederá en su combate? ¿Qué pasará con la esperanza que la gente espera? ¿Qué ocurrirá con las personas que intentan resistir el régimen supremacista de The Complex?

Más de una decena de novedades

Este año ha habido razones de peso para que la ComicCon esté más desinflada que nunca. La huelga de guionistas ha retrasado el anuncio de nuevos proyectos y la de actores ha hecho que no sea tan jugoso el acudir al evento pues siempre se organizan paneles en los que poder encontrarse con las estrellas que están involucradas en adaptaciones de cómics o películas/series varias de género fantástico. Ha habido excepciones como la visita de Jamie Lee Curtis que ha acudido a presentar el cómic ‘Madre Naturaleza (Mother Nature)’ en calidad de escritora.

La San Diego ComicCon 2023 se celebró la semana pasada y con o sin obstáculos las distribuidoras y productoras aprovecharon este espacio para lanzar alguna novedad o nuevos tráilers de títulos que están por venir.

Como sabréis durante la convención también se anuncian los Premios Eisner que reconocen lo mejor del mundo del cómic y antes de dar paso a las novedades vistas en la ComiCon 2023 queríamos aprovechar para dar la enhorabuena a aquellos españoles que este año se han alzado con tan prestigioso y difícil de conseguir premio. El guionista Díaz Canales y el dibujante Guarnido han repetido premio con su ‘Blacksad’. Por otro lado Bruno Redondo se ha llevado dos premios este año, a mejor portadista y a mejor serie por ‘Nightwing’, la cual realiza junto al guionista Tom Taylor. Estaba entre los nominados Álvaro Martínez Bueno por ‘The nice house on the lake’ pero no pudo repetir la hazaña del año pasado.

Avances de series y películas.

Todos los años hacemos una recapitulación de los avances que han salido durante la ComicCon de San Diego. En el evento sobre la cultura del cómic hace años que se hace algo más que presentar nuevas colecciones de viñetas. Tienen cabida muchas series o películas que surgen entorno al noveno arte o a la cultura pop en general. Obviamente siempre se entregan los Premios Eisner, de los cuales nos hacemos eco aquí.

Este año esperábamos ver a Bayona en los paneles de ‘Los anillos de poder’ pero no ha sido así, no obstante hemos visto un tráiler final con el que empezamos nuestra lista.

De nuevo premio para España

Como cada año en la ComicCon de San Diego se han anunciado los ganadores de los Premios Eisner, el máximo reconocimiento dentro de la industria del noveno arte. Y nos congratulamos en poder decir que de nuevo hay premio para el arte nacido dentro de nuestras fronteras. En la categoría de mejor nueva serie encontramos ‘The nice house on the lake’ (reseña aquí). Una obra dibujada por Álvaro Martínez Bueno, con quien esperamos encontrarnos en la próxima Madrid Cómic Pop Up. La aparición de su nombre entre los triunfadores de estos Eisner 2022 le agrega a la lista de otros españoles como Larroca, Emma Ríos o Paco Roca que ya tienen el premio en su haber.

No ha habido tanta suerte para Bruno Redondo que optaba en estos Eisner 2022 a premios por su trabajo en ‘Nightwing’. Pero solo por el magnífico hecho de haber tenido hasta cuatro nominaciones hay que considerarlo todo un logro digno de aplausos. Tampoco ha podido materializar el premio Jorge Fornés que estaba nominado a mejor historia corta por sus pinceles en ‘Tap, Tap, Tap’ con Green Arrow. Sin duda, aunque ha sido un premio de seis candidaturas, es un momento magnífico para los artistas españoles que reclaman de esta manera mayor reconocimiento.

Adelantos vistos en la Comic-Con 2020

La pandemia no impide mostrar lo que está por venir

El pasado viernes os adelantamos los primeros vídeos surgidos en la edición de la Comic-Con. Como siempre el evento de San Diego nos ofrece adelantos de series, cómics y películas que están por llegar, así como encuentros con sus artífices. Aquí nos centraremos como siempre en los tráilers o escenas estrenadas en la Comic-Con 2020 que por causas de fuerza mayor ha tenido que ser online, ha sido un Comic-Con @Home.

Una serie que nos tiene enamorados y que seguirá con una temporada más es ‘Star Trek’. Nos referimos tanto a Picard, como a Discovery y añadimos la nueva versión animada.

No dudamos que estaréis esperando como locos la quinta temporada de ‘Rick y Morty’, a pesar de habar tenido hace poco nuevos episodios. Aún no sabemos cuándo llegará pero este adelanto de la Comic-Con 2020 en plan story board nos ha encantado.

Además ya podemos ver un vídeo muy… japonés.

Por supuesto no podía faltar material de ‘The boys’ que estrenará pronto su segunda temporada en Amazon Prime Video. Aquí tenéis su panel que incluye una escena bastante cruel con cierto animal.

Por supuesto Marvel/Disney dio algún avance. Es el caso de ‘Marvel’s 616’, la serie sobre sus personajes.

El próximo 16 de agosto llegará ‘Lovecraft Country’ a HBO y hemos podido ver otro nuevo vídeo de esta serie que nos tiene expectantes.

Una serie de Hulu que tiene pintaza de ‘Helstorm’.

Netflix no para de estrenar series animadas y de animación. En esta ocasión podéis ver ‘Wizards: Tales of Arcadia’ que llegará este 2020.

Cartoon Network ha estado haciendo episodios sueltos de ‘Hora de aventuras’ y nos revelan cuál será el siguiente, Distant Lands Obsidian protagonizado por Marceline y la Princesa Chicle.

 

Los coleccionistas están de enhorabuena. Bien es sabido por todos que las figuras de McFarlane son de las mejores del mercado. Pues han anunciado que habrá colección de ‘The Witcher’.

 

Una serie de Netflix que gana cada vez más adeptos es ‘The Dragon Prince’. Los fans han tenido respuesta a sus peticiones, habrá cuatro temporadas más.

Sabemos también que la décima temporada de ‘The Walking Dead’ llegará el 4 de octubre. Tendrá episodios extra que serán lanzados más tarde y una temporada 11 en otoño de 2021. Ha sido anunciado durante este panel de la Comic-Con 2020 junto con un adelanto.

No nos olvidamos de ‘Fear The Walkng Dead’ que podremos ver de nuevo el 11 de octubre con algunos cambios con respecto a los planes originales.

‘The Walking Dead: World Beyond’ es la nueva serie inspirada en el universo de Robert Kirkman que podemos ver el 4 de ocubre. Adolescentes y zombies, este es el resultado.

Paco Roca y Emma Ríos se llevan galardón

Como seguramente sepáis la edición de la Comic-Con de este año está siendo virtual. Se están lanzando tráilers, haciendo paneles por videollamadas, anunciando próximas novedades de cómics, series y películas… todo online. Esto no ha impedido que se continúe con la tradicional entrega de premios Eisner.

Ya es tradicional, también y por suerte, que tengamos que aplaudir el éxito español entre los considerados como los premios más importantes del mundo de las viñetas. El año pasado fue Ken Nimura y en estos Eisner 2020 el historietista Paco Roca y la portadista Emma Ríos han recibido premio con ‘La casa’ y ‘Pretty Deadly’ respectivamente. Enhorabuena también a Astiberri por la edición del cómic de Roca. Además debemos incluir otra librería española a las agraciadas con el reconocimiento de los Eisner ya que Nostromo (Sevilla) ha sido reconocida como la mejor del mundo.

Podríamos haber tenido más suerte ya que había otros españoles como Salvador Larroca nominados. Seguro que el año que viene más y mejor. Aquí podéis ver la entrega realizada en Youtube y a continuación todo el listado.

‘Star Trek: Picard’, llegará en 2020 a Amazon Prime Video

Si sois seguidores de Star Trek seguro que estáis bien empapados de la historia de Picard. Si no tampoco es mala idea empezar con la saga en la etapa (series y películas) en la que Patrick Stewart interpretó a Jean-Luc Picard, el capitán de la famosa Enterprise. Tras ello podéis continuar con sus crónicas con la serie que en España va a emitir Amazon Prime Video, ‘Star Trek: Picard’.

Una serie que hace un par de días tuvo su protagonismo en la Comic-Con con el lanzamiento de su tráiler. Originalmente esta es una producción de CBS All Access que cuenta en su reparto con Santiago Cabrera, Alison Pill, Isa Briones, Michelle Hurd, Harry Treadaway y Evan Evagora.

Durante el primer trimestre de 2020 podremos ver esta serie que en su primer vistazo parece tener una factura estupenda y conectar muy bien con sus ficciones originales.

Tráiler desvelado en la Comic-Con

Como siempre la Comic-Con de San Diego está plagada de novedades y sorpresas y ayer una de las más comentadas fue el tráiler de ‘Cats’. La adaptación del famosísimo y longevo musical de Broadway basado en la colección de poemas ‘El libro de los gatos habilidosos del viejo Possum’ de T. S. Eliot ahora se convierte en película gracias a la producción de Universal Pictures.

Lo cierto es que este despliegue antropomórfico de los protagonistas no augura nada bueno. En el tráiler podéis ver ya a todas las estrellas cantando. Actores como Taylor Swift, Judi Dench, Ian McKellen, James Corden, Rebel Wilson, Idris Elba, Jennifer Hudson… rodeados de escenarios horteras y de tamaños cambiantes.

Tom Hopper (‘El discurso del rey’) ha sido el encargado de esta adaptación que nos llegará en plenas navidades, el 25 de diciembre. Si no aguantas a tus cuñados cantando a grito pelado los villancicos tampoco corras a los cines, te espera esto.

Más de treinta años después Tom Cruise retoma el papel del intrépido piloto

Tom Cruise en su juventud… un momento, ¿la juventud de Tom Cruise se ha acabado en algún momento? El caso es que Tom Cruise retoma el papel que hizo hace treinta y tres años. Estrenará en 2020 ‘Top Gun, Maverick’. Encarnará de nuevo al piloto Maverick y lo hará contando de nuevo con nombres como el de Val Kilmer que aparecía también en la primera parte. También estarán en la película Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Ed Harris, Miles Teller y Nicholas Hoult.

‘Top Gun: Ídolos del aire’, fue uno de los títulos míticos de los años 80 dirigido por Tony Scott y protagonizado por Tom Cruise, en el que el actor daba vida a un joven temerario que entraba en una escuela donde estaba la élite de los pilotos. Joseph Kosinski (‘TRON: Legacy’, ‘Oblivion’) es el director de la nueva entrega que han escrito Peter Craig (‘Los juegos del hambre: Sinsajo – Parte 2’), Christopher McQuarrie (‘Misión Imposible’), Justin Marks (‘El libro de la selva’) y Eric Warren Singer (‘La gran estafa americana’).

El tráiler ha sido presentado por el propio Tom Cruise que se ha presentado por sorpresa en la Comi-Con de San Diego.

Norma Editorial se lleva un galardón

Se está celebrando ya la Comic-Con de San Diego y en este evento no solo se anuncian nuevas películas, se realizan encuentros con famosos y productoras o se lanzan nuevos tráilers. No, de hecho este es un lugar de encuentro para cosplayers, coleccionistas, compradores de cómics… y es una cita imprescindible para los amantes de las viñetas y como cada año se han otorgado los Premios Eisner, los que se consideran el mayor galardón del noveno arte, aquel que todos conocemos como cómic.

Había varias esperanzas de llevarnos galardones para nuestro país pues teníamos artistas nominados en España como David Rubín, Santiago García o El Torres pero en esta ocasión no ha podido ser. Aunque no hemos engrosado el palmarés nacional a nivel individual la editorial Norma si está de enhorabuena pues para ellos es el premio a mejor diseño de publicación por su Akira Edición 35 Aniversario, ¡descorchemos una botella de champán por ellos!
